What Is Open Source ?

Open Source allows you to portray and explore your abilities. It gives you an opportunity to apply your problem solving skills to solve complex challenges and collaborate in different projects that would help you enhance your knowledge.

How Do I Benefit From Open Source ?

There are so many ways one can benefit from open source which I have listed as follows :

  Tackling projects and applying different concepts to programming challenges helps boost your skills knowledge. Learning from others who have more vast knowledge than you will serve as a learning curve and eventually broaden your knowledge.

• Be part of a team

  Working in an open source project means you'll be part of a team. This will give us a sense of what it feels like working with others, how to become a team player and also help hone communication skills.

• Have Fun

  Most times we take this nugget for granted. There is always a positive energy that comes from a happy person that fuels you to produce nothing but the best results.
