Blogging is the best way to keep track of progress,showcase your skills, portray your abilities and explore your creativeness.During the #HasnodeBootcamp II I have been graced with a task entitled “what successful blogging means to me” and I thought to myself why is it really important?
Often at school we were asked to write essay’s or comprehensions but never understood why and how this would serve its purpose in the near future,till l realised and learnt that writing is a form of communication. Whether writing a code,commenting or doing presentations, writing is something that is part of us and has created avenues and opportunites for many.
Below, i'm going to list a few opinions as to why it is important to blog :
Learning and Documenting
Starting a blog helps you with the learning process, it is a easier way to reference back to your articles when you are faced with certain problem. You can use a blog also as part of documenting your work, and help others who would be in a similar position that you were once in.
Potray your skills and abilities
Blogging showcases your skills and abilities towards your readers or employers. This is another way to open windows of opportunites for you and this can shift your career to the next level.
Sharing is caring
Knowledge shared is knowledge gained. You can imagine how far your content can reach to a person when you blog. This is another way of helping someone while boosting your skills. Its a win win situation 😜
